Metro Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization contracted to serve as the municipal animal shelter for Tuscaloosa City, Tuscaloosa County, and Northport. If you find Tuscaloosa's landmark record-shaped tuscaoosa radio station building, you've found us we're directly across the street. She has tiscaloosa diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, but that is in remission thanks to a proper diet. Schedule an appointment by clicking here. Our focus is to seek as many permanent, loving homes as possible for the hundreds of animals brought to us every year.

Last year, alone, T-Town PAWS rescued, cared for, and spayed or neutered nearly unwanted animals from our community's shelter - animals who otherwise faced euthanasia for lack or space or time at the shelter - and we ultimately adopted them to loving homes through our adoption facility and the Pet Supplies Plus adoption room. These pets provide our Tuscaloosa neighbors with comfort, security, and emotional support.

So become involved and help us progress even further! This rescue hasn't posted any pets that match these criteria.

Foster will continue to be via appointment. All dogs and cats come with microchips, and all pets who are old enough have ppets spayed or neutered. If you come to the shelter without a mask you will be turned away.
